Project Overview

The Short-Term Rental Advisory Committee (STRAC) has completed its final recommendations for managing short-term rentals (STRs) in North Kawartha. The document is available for review here: STRAC Final Recommendations – February 10 2026

We’re inviting residents, property owners, and community members to review these recommendations and share your feedback online or at a Public Open House on Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m in the Banquet Hall at the North Kawartha Community Centre (340 McFadden Road, Apsley).

You can submit your feedback online using our feedback form below.

Feedback collected online and at the Public Open House will be submitted in a Staff Report to Council in June 2026.
