County Road 18 (Ward Street) - Reconstruction

Project Overview:

Peterborough County, in consultation with the Township of Selwyn, has completed a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) Study for County Road 18 (Ward Street) in Bridgenorth, Ontario. The project area includes County Road 18 (Ward Street) from East Communication Road to Communication Road.

The project is currently in the detailed design and construction phase. Planned improvements include:

• A new road surface
• New storm sewers, curbs, and gutters
• New sidewalks
• A new multi-use path for walking and cycling
• New pedestrian streetlights
• Upgraded traffic signals
• Space for future community improvements planned by the Township
